Keeley Reade, CEO
Keeley is a Mornington Peninsula local who works in the digital health sector and has academic qualifications in allied health, education and information technology. She has worked in in non-profit and commercial organisations in a range of industries including healthcare, aged and disability care and local government. Keeley is committed to giving back the local community through pro-active participation


Megan Willis, Operations Coordinator
Megan is our exceptional Operations Coordinator, with a hand in all operational tasks at Saltbush. She is the warm and friendly face throughout the entire holiday process, from bookings, to welcoming guests and ensuring they have a wonderful, restful time at Balnarring Beach.
Megan has experience working in not-for-profit organisations and in busy, dynamic workplaces with diverse groups, and brings this knowledge to all she does at Saltbush.
Helpful and considerate, Megan is people-focussed, and ensures that her work at Saltbush is conducted through the lens of what will make holidays easier and more enjoyable for guests.
Turkan Gulay, Operations Coordinator
Turkan is an Operations Coordinator at Saltbush, playing a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. With a genuine care for our guests, she helps create a welcoming and seamless experience. Turkan has travelled extensively and has a passion for meeting new people and forming meaningful connections.


Amy Campion, Storytelling and Brand Strategist
With a deep belief in the power of storytelling to build connection and inspire change, Amy brings decades of experience in communications, social media, fundraising and brand strategy to her role at Saltbush.
Amy has worked across a range of ethical and community-driven organisations, helping to craft compelling narratives, build online communities, and grow engagement through thoughtful, values-led communication.
Alongside her work at Saltbush, Amy holds several voluntary roles including on the Boards of RPPFM Community Radio and Dreamhouse Theatre, and previously as Chair for a Bendigo Community Bank. She is passionate about community, creativity, social justice and impact, integral ecology and is excited to help Saltbush share its stories in ways that resonate and inspire.
Our Board
Charles Reis OAM, Chairperson
Charles Reis joined the Board in December 2022 and was appointed Co-Chair and honorary Company Secretary in 2023; and then Chair in 2024. He is Chairperson of MacKillop Family Services, a national charity focused on providing children, young people and families with support services following domestic violence, trauma or loss. He is Chairperson of Mercy Connect, serving people with complex disabilities in the Riverina and central NSW. He is Chair of the Save Flinders Pier campaign; Committee Member of the Western Port Coastal Advisory Group; and a member of Bayside Council’s Advisory Committee for the Billilla mansion and parklands in Brighton. He has a commercial background and held leadership positions in listed public companies, government organisations and the not-for-profit sector. He holds a BA, B.Ed and MBA and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.


Shelley Iles, Treasurer
Shelley joined the Saltbush board in 2021. Shelley is a Mornington Peninsula local and a CPA who started her career at Deloitte, before moving into finance and business leadership roles in education. Shelley is active in the local community and is committed to the values of Saltbush, Balnarring Beach.
Dr Dietmar Tourbier, PhD, MBA
Dr Tourbier is the Director of Energy at the CSIRO. He is leading a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, economists and business professionals in solving current and future energy challenges to enable the transition to lower emissions energy future.
Prior to this role Dr Tourbier served as the Science Director and Deputy Director of Energy and as the Director of the Australian Solar Thermal Research Institute (ASTRI) providing the vision, direction and strategic oversight for the delivery, adoption and impact of the ASTRI objectives. Prior to joining CSIRO, Dr Tourbier worked at General Electric (GE) for over 20 years and held various leading positions in corporate research including the leadership roles of GE’s solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) division in California, the global power electronics technology research group and, most recently, GE’s European research division. Dr Tourbier received his masters in aerospace engineering from the University of Stuttgart and his PhD in aerospace engineering from the University of Arizona. He also received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.


Katy Henley
Katy joined the Saltbush board in 2024, after being drawn to Saltbush as an organisation that was aligned with her beliefs, dignity, and providing opportunities to help create happy memories. Katy is a qualified IT professional who has worked across many sectors including banking, finance, agriculture and is currently engaged in digital transformation in the water industry.
Olivia Killeen
Olivia (she/her) is a young professional working in advocacy and policy within the not-for-profit sector, with academic qualifications in social policy, history and geography. She is dedicated to advocating for people experiencing hardship, and challenging systemic barriers to equitable access and participation in the community. She is thrilled to be serving as a board director at Saltbush and ensuring everyone can access the opportunities provided to spend time in nature and rest, relax and recharge as needed.


Sharon Sherwood
Sharon Sherwood is Chief of Mental Health & Cabrini Outreach at Cabrini Health, where she led the development of Australia’s first private Women’s Mental Health Service. With a background in Mental Health Nursing and as a graduate of the Williamson Community Leadership Program, Sharon is passionate about innovation, advocacy, and building partnerships to improve mental health care. Living on the Mornington Peninsula, she is deeply committed to being part of Saltbush and supporting its vision.
Stefan Landvogt
Stefan is a local healthcare professional who joined the board in 2025 and is committed to continuing Saltbush’s values of social justice and hospitality to all who need it. He is passionate about the natural world and looks forward to assisting in the restoration of the bushland at Saltbush.


Alison Menzies
Alison joined the Saltbush Board in 2024. She has deep connections to the Mornington Peninsula and values the peace and comfort this beautiful part of the world can offer people. Alison began her career as a social worker and has primarily worked in the education sector in leadership roles in shared services including marketing, HR, IT, Property and Facilities Services and OHS.
