A Night of Hope Fundraising Dinner

Dr Tourbier will share with us considerations and answer questions as Australia moves towards a net-zero emissions energy future, exploring debates about the right pathway, technologies, costs, electricity prices, and the role of regions. Communities want clear, transparent information about these developments, their benefits, and potential drawbacks, highlighting the need for a holistic approach to support during the energy transition.

Dr Dietmar Tourbier is the Director of Energy at the CSIRO. He is leading a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, economists, and business professionals in solving current and future energy challenges to enable the transition to lower emissions energy future.

Help us raise vital funds for Saltbush Balnarring Beach, a registered local charity that provides short stay respite accomodation for people from all walks of life who would otherwise be unable to have a holiday. Short breaks at Saltbush help people who are doing it tough to have time to catch their breath and restore their mental wellbeing to face day to day life. Families can reconnect with each other, enjoy peaceful, safe time in nature, and children can be free just to play without worrying about the difficulties at home. Joining our circle of support helps keep the doors open and the lights turned on to welcome more families in need.
