Saltbush is located at 122 Balnarring Beach Rd, Balnarring Beach on the Mornington Peninsula.
Saltbush is in a quiet residential area adjacent to farmland, close to the beach and walking tracks.
There are six houses onsite, a playground, native gardens and wide green grassy areas with outdoor tables and benches to relax on.
In each house you will find an explorer back-pack that includes instructions for a range of self-guided nature activities and walks that are suitable for children and adults. The pack also includes a torch, bucket and spade, binoculars and other items to help make your nature activities fun. Each house also has a selection of books and games for guests to enjoy.

- Bush walking tracks
- Balnarring Village shops with supermarket, chemist, cafes and restaurants
- Balnarring Village Common (a regenerated native garden area with seating)
- Community skate park and playground
Within a a short driving distance are many wonderful attractions of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. There are a wide variety of walking and bike tracks, beaches, wineries, historical sites (such as nearby Coolart Homestead), picturesque neighbouring towns, and various markets to explore throughout the year.
We provide:
- Bedding (sheets and blankets), pillows with pillowcases
- Basic crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils

You need to bring:

Please be advised that we have induction stovetops in all houses. Only pots, pans, and stovetop coffee pots designed for induction stovetops will work.
Pots and pans are provided in each house, and a kettle and coffee plunger for coffee.

Each house has its own parking spaces. Any additional cars can use the office carpark, or park at the rear of the property.
Yes. The Code is in the welcome books and on the wall in the kitchen.
Guests can holiday independently at Saltbush or join us for school holiday programs and retreats.
The minimum number of nights stay at Saltbush is 2 nights. An fee is charged for cleaning costs for bookings less than 3 nights, for full rate bookings, and for groups. Please see the rates for more information.
You may check in to your house after 2pm on your booking date. This is remote check in, you do not have to come to the office to check in. All the information for checking into your house will be emailed to you before arrival.
Check out is 10am on the date of your departure. This allows our cleaners to prepare the houses for the next guests. Please leave the keys in the key safe outside the houses.
On the day of check-out, leave the house clean and tidy, and remove used fitted sheet and used pillowcases and place them in the laundry bags located in the laundry. Please DO NOT remove the mattress protectors.

Each house has 3 or 4 bedrooms and sleeps between 6-10 people. See accommodation.
No, our accomodation is self contained. We do supply tea, coffee, and basic condiments, but please bring your own food.
Only assistance dogs are allowed on the premises, and verifiable certification must be provided prior to arrival.

The office is open between 9am-3pm from Monday to Friday. When checking in past 3pm, there will not be staff on site, but you can call (03) 5929 3066 if there are any issues.
Saltbush has an advanced security system that includes cameras outside all houses and across the grounds. There are no cameras inside the houses. The gate to the main entrance is locked after hours.
