New Kitchens Project
We need your help for a very special project!
We plan to install 6 new kitchens, one in each of our houses.
The kitchens in the beach houses are 35 years old and in urgent need of upgrading. These new kitchens will help ensure that we can continue to provide safe, nurturing and restful short breaks for those in need for many years to come.
Our goal is to instal one kitchen at a time and have them all complete within 12 months – though of course if we get all the help we need, we could even get it done sooner!
The amazing team at Bendigo Community Bank of Balnarring and District have funded the purchase of Kaboodle Kitchens from Bunnings to the value of $36,500. A generous local donor has also agreed to fund the cost of all new tiling and kitchen splash backs valued at $12,500.
So What Do We Need Now?
We need help to get these kitchens in! Are you handy with tools? Or would you be able to provide funding to cover some of the costs we will incur? We are calling for community organisations, local sporing clubs, local businesses, and tradespeople to get involved with this community effort. In addition to the knowledge that you are making a real impact and improving the lives of people who really need it, we would be delighted to show our gratitude with:
